A separate sun deck is outfitted with lounge chairs. Sutton Hall was one of four cooperatives developed by K. P. Walker and the Garden Plan Company from 1926 to 1928. In the basement, there are laundry facilities, private storage rooms, and maids quarters. Built as a co-op in 1927, 350 East 57th Street advertised elegant layouts, generous entertaining spaces, and fine finishes. Floors 6 through 15 were designed with two apartments per floor a Classic 6 and a Classic 7. Most of the residences feature a 20-foot long, graceful gallery foyer leading into a stately, north-facing living room with a wood burning fireplace and an adjoining formal dining room. 2 or 3 bedrooms face south to a semi-open courtyard.
